Today’s college landscape provides so many opportunities for students to prepare for and explore their future. Unfortunately, the process of planning for college and applying for admission can seem overwhelming. Yet I know from experience it’s worth every effort when young people find the best fit for their abilities, talents, and interests.
With a lifelong interest in college access and nearly three decades of experience, I have successfully helped thousands of students and families navigate the admissions and financial aid process. I have been fortunate to work with some of the nation’s leading educational organizations and understand the needs college-seeking students and their families face.
As an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC), I can share the knowledge I have accumulated over the years and connect what I know about institutions and the admission process with the needs of my clients and their families. In addition, I travel across the country, touring numerous college and university campuses to grow as an informed consultant.
Professional associations are essential to providing access to current resources and connections. I currently serve on the Executive Board of Texas Association for College Admission Counseling (TACAC) as Treasurer and a delegate to the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). I also have extensive experience as a presenter for college admissions and financial aid.
There are a host of great colleges for everyone, and the process of seeking college options for my clients is inspiring. Finding the potential matches for each student is thrilling and providing these college choices in a collaborative environment is what I strive for with every student.
